Sights and Sounds of The Big Apple

New York is always an adventure.

The last time I visited NYC, I was 8 years old. I remember vividly going into FAO Schwartz (when they were still up and running) to get the latest and coolest toys.

This time, I visited NYC with one thing in mind, to explore every nook and corner of The Big Apple.

I took one of those Hop-On Hop-Off tour buses for easy access around the city. Yes, the subway is a good option, but it isn’t always fun to see NYC’s underground.

I stayed in Manhattan for a 6 days and kinda ran out of things to do.

All in all, NYC is a vibrant and exciting place to explore, cost of living is high, and so is getting around.

It gets hot and sticky in Summer (when I visited), and is very crowded with tourists and New Yorkers.

From the tall skyscrapers to the authentic street food, the Broadway musicals to the Brooklyn bridge, the Statue of Liberty and shopping malls, NYC is definitely a city that never sleeps.

As much as I love you, its time for me to head back to dry and sunny California.

Til’ we meet again New York.
